Pole Den is growing! — and we’re building our dream team to kick off Dec 2025 and hard launch with us in 2026! We’re looking for reliable, grounded, and community-minded folx who love to grow with us.

Roles we’re hiring for include:

  • Official Instructors - committed to a weekly schedule

  • Substitute Instructor - for those wanting to teach occasionally or on-call

  • Work Trades - Help clean the studio in exchange for discounted memberships.

  • Workshop Host + Partnership Proposals - for guest instructors, special events, and collaborations

  • Merchandise Wholesalers – sell or supply products in-studio that align with our brand and community

Instructor Application Overview::

We’re seeking dynamic, reliable, and passionate instructors to substitute for current Pole Den Instructors.You’ll guide students of all levels through engaging, safe, and fun classes while helping build a supportive, values-driven space. 2025 teachers will lay the groundwork for our team of Pole Den Instructors for our official launch in January 2026.

We’re looking for folk who have:

  • 3+ years poling, dancing or industry experience

  • Have instructor insurance

  • Certified, preferred but not required (i.e. Xpert, Liquid Motion, Pole Fitness Alliance, etc.)

  • Experience teaching/ leading/ empowering groups of 10+ people

  • Strong communication and time management skills

  • Passion for movement and building community

  • CPR certification a plus

About Pole Den Dance Studio:

Pole Den is a vibrant, homegrown dance studio committed to honoring the roots of pole, celebrating sensual movement, and empowering people through expression. We specialize in pole dance, floorwork, and creative movement within a welcoming, inclusive, and body-positive community.

    • Outgoing, friendly, and grounded

    • Professional, punctual, and dependable

    • Skilled in teaching beginner to intermediate pole/dance techniques

    • Open to feedback and growth-oriented in your teaching practice

    • Aligned with values of respect, inclusivity, and celebration of all bodies and identities

    • Teach your scheduled pole and/or dance classes on weekends

    • Arrive 30 min early to prep space and welcome students

    • Ensure student safety and proper technique

    • Provide modifications for different skill levels

    • Foster a positive, inclusive environment

    • Class promotion on social media with clips/photos/stories (optional but encouraged)

    • Communicate clearly with Killa Kam regarding subs, schedule, and student issues

    • $35–$50 per class, based on experience

    • Potential for additional paid opportunities (subbing, party hosting, etc.)

    • Studio perks: discounted/free classes, events and merch
